It’s now over 9 weeks since my endoscopy where I was told to await my biopsy results but to start a gluten free diet anyway since my coeliac was so obvious. And despite not having received any results (am I supposed to phone my doctor or something for these?) I have finally received an appointment with the gastroenterology department at my local hospital. For the end of October. Almost FOUR MONTHS after my endoscopy.

Really NHS? REALLY? Four months? That is pretty ridiculous. What if my coeliac hadn’t been so clear from the endoscopy and I was still having to eat gluten for these four months that you’ve got me on a waiting list? I think it’s pretty shocking that you would make me wait this long for an appointment. It’s not like there are no long term effects or anything…
