Chocolate Sadness
Every week at rehearsals we get a break where we can have tea/coffee/juice and crisps or a chocolate biscuit. Finally!
It's now over 9 weeks since my endoscopy where I was told to await my biopsy results but to start a gluten free diet anyway since my coeliac was so obvious. And despite not having received any results (am I supposed to phone my doctor or something for these?) I have finally received an appointment with the gastroenterology department at my local hospital. For the end of October. Almost FOUR MONTHS after my endoscopy. Really NHS? REALLY? Four ... Update: Frozen Yogurt
I went in to Tutti Frutti yesterday for my weekly froyo fix and was thrilled to see a little "not gluten free" sign on the new flavour Piña Colada. I assume this is something to do with coconut since I know the coconut flavour isn't gluten free either. Instead I had a "passion" frozen yogurt with some sprinkles that I checked were gluten free on the packaging. The staff are all very helpful and are willing to check the packets of anything I ask ...
